Who is Coastway?

The best things in life always come with a cost. That’s why in the summer of 2021, a core team of 36 men, women and children counted the cost and moved to Horry County. What moved us to move? Spiritual need and dynamic growth.  

That’s how and why Coastway Church was born. Through a group of people in transition. And we have since proven to be a church for people in transition. 

So, whether you’re new to the area, searching for a fresh start, or maybe you’ve been out of church for some time, we can’t wait to welcome you!

What is a gathering like?

Coastway Church gathers Sundays at 11am on the campus of Black Water Middle School located at 900 E Cox Ferry Road in Conway. 

Come as you are ready to be welcomed into a relational environment, with worship that is modern and meaningful, verse by verse Bible teaching, and a fun, safe space where your kids will have fun and learn about Jesus on their level.

What’s the teaching like?

We teach Jesus as the answer and God’s Word as the truth. The motive of our teaching  is to explain God’s Word in ways that are faithful, practical and transformational. The method of our teaching is expositional, verse by verse through various passages and often entire books of the bible. The central message of our teaching is the good news of Jesus’ sinless life, substitutionary death, and victorious resurrection as humanity’s sole hope for salvation.
